Christian Marriage (Day Course)
LF460 Christian Marriage (1 credit)* – For Married Couples Only
Mondays, 11.30 am-2.30 pm, 13 Jul – 31 Aug (7 sessions)
The course is designed to strengthen marriage (using The Marriage Course materials by Alpha) and to address concerns unique to couples in ministry. Since the course is highly interactive and involves many discussions between husband and wife, participants must enroll and attend as couples. The course materials will be made available free of charge in PDF format. Participants who prefer to have hard copies may purchase from the Alpha Singapore office (estimated $40 each but stock availability and reopening of the office is currently unknown).

Jacob Li, ThM, is passionate about teaching. He has 20 years of teaching adults in Canada, USA, and Asia. In addition to his ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary (USA), he has a Master of Continuing Education – Adult Learning from University of Calgary (Canada). Jacob is committed to helping people study the Word of God as well as to live out their God-given potentials.
Josephine Lam, MA, graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Biblical Studies. Josephine has enjoyed teaching people in different age groups—from young children to seniors—and from diverse ethnic background. She has led bible studies and workshops in churches, para-church ministries and seminaries in US, Canada and Asia.

New Testament Narratives (Day Course)
NT510 New Testament Narratives (3 credits)
Thursdays, 9.00 am – 12.30 pm
There’s only one life of Jesus Christ, so why are there four Gospel accounts? This course will uncover the way each Gospel book gives us a compatible, yet distinct, portrait of the character, life, and teachings of our Lord.
Pre-requisite: BS510 Bible Study Methods and Hermeneutics.
Keith Shubert, PhD, is a staff member of Cru for 45 years, has ministered in more than 30 countries, and served as resident or adjunct faculty for four seminaries in Asia and the USA. He lived in Israel for three years while completing a Master’s degree in Historical Geography of Ancient Israel.
Victor Kwok, ThM, worked in the marketplace for over 30 years before joining EAST. He majored in Teaching and Exposition (MDiv), and Biblical Studies (ThM) and is committed to keep studying and applying God’s Word, and teach others to do likewise for the Great Commission.

In Old Testament Hebrew, “integrity” means in a state of completeness, perfection, soundness, uprightness, and wholeness without blemish. Similarly, in New Testament Greek, it means honesty and having a habit of good works.
