Come and see
The Worldwide Day of Prayer (WWDP) on 31 March 2021 at EAST, 118 Joo Chiat Road was a time of community, corporate prayer, and “come and see” for the EAST faculty, staff and students.
After a time of worship and reflection, adjunct faculty Ng Khim Fatt gave the heartfelt exhortation from the Word. It was given to “Come and See” what God is doing around and among us. That was followed by an hour of prayer walk around the neighbourhood in five separate walking routes, lined out by students Choong Voon and Jasmine.
Budding Forth a New Garden
We have a small plot of gardening space at the front of our Joo Chiat Campus which is coming alive with the green fingers of our resident faculty-and-botanist, Roland Tan.
The EAST garden has always been a place of refreshing, relaxation, and familiarity as the flora greets us every day we come to school. We hope the garden will do the same for our passers-by along Joo Chiat Road.

An Open House into a New Season of Equipping

We had our first eOpen House on 17 March 2021 to extend a warm welcome to potential students around the world. For those seeking a suitable seminary for their season of equipping, it was a time of community outreach where our faculty, staff, students and alumni interacted with our guests as one school. Prayer Pointers – 28 Jan 2021
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 ESV)
We continue to lean on the Lord as we start classes this semester with a number of students from abroad attending classes online.
