A time of prayer and dedication
On 21 May 2022, East Asia School of Theology’s (EAST) 28th Commencement Service was held at Bethesda (Bedok-Tampines) Church (BBTC). We had 17 graduates: 8 Master of Divinity, 4 Master of Arts, 3 Graduate Diploma, and 2 Partners in Ministry. They were from eight nationalities coming from China, Korea, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Singapore. Three graduates were the recipients of the EAST President Leadership Award, Academic Excellence Award, Christian Character Award, and/or Spiritual Multiplier Award.
The 27th cohort of graduates went on a migration of EAST campus from Christ Church (2018) through Grace Church (2019) and finally arrived at 118 Joo Chiat Road (2020), dubbed as the EAST Mission Hub. Connecting the year with the visual acuity of 20/20, the theme for this commencement is “Let us continue to maintain clarity of God’s call and vision for us.” While we do not have our regular Commencement Service due to the circuit breaker situation, we do still celebrate with the EAST 26th cohort of graduates. Warm congratulations to each and every graduate. We are so proud of you! Shalom!
