Is peace hard-wired in our DNA?

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”

“In our much divided world of ethnic violence, racial discrimination, gender inequality, income disparity, political extremism, the Trump-Kim Summit is a beacon of light in a world of darkness,” wrote Dr John Ng recently. Read his article on how peace may well be hard-wired in our DNA. He explains his belief that “every one of us deeply desires peace in our marriages, families, organizations, countries and in the world.”

John is a Singaporean Christian leader who teaches biblical peacemaking, leads workshops on it, and has been called upon to mediate among disparate parties in conflict resolution. Shalom.
