Theology of Work – Module 2: Vocation
Why and how is your “ordinary” work God’s sacred vocational calling for you?
Martin Luther argued that when a baker bakes bread, God is feeding the world through the baker’s hands. This module explores Luther’s recovery of ordinary work as vocation and its challenge to the sacred-secular divide that still shapes how many Christians view their jobs.
We will consider what it means to understand your specific work as a calling, how that affects the way you inhabit your role, how you navigate ambiguity, and how you think about transitions across a working life
