What are EAST student’s views on online classes held last semester?
This is a pertinent question even as we begin a new academic year this month with all of our classes being held through online means. All first year classes are held online throughout the semester while the rest of classes are either online or blended. Hear what they have to say!
The video recording of three students featured above is safely done in their home during the circuit breaker period.

Hear My Cry, O Lord

“Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud;
be gracious to me and answer me!” (Psalm 27:7, ESV)
As David wrote Psalm 27, in verse 7, he pivoted from praise to prayer. There is a sense of plaintiff cry for help in verses 7 to 14. In the original language, verse 7 is succinct and direct: “Hear, O Lord; with my voice I call; pity me, and answer me” (Pulpit Commentary).

Reflection on recent elections
Posted by eeyuing on July 18, 2020 · Leave a Comment
It has been just a week since Singapore held its General Elections and the dust of who won and lost in the various constituencies are slowly settling down. A local Christian website, Salt & Light, has a blog post which serves to remind us of our Christian civic duty to reflect, confess and repent in view of all that has been done and said. The author of the article said, “We do not put our trust in political systems, parties or personalities … Our charge is to honour the authorities (Romans 13:1-8)” and to “teach the next generation how to make sense of the topics of passion of their day through the lens of Scripture.”
Have a good read of today’s #SaturdayGoodRead and a blessed weekend!
The author, Ng Zhiwen, “is a connector. His passion is to see the Church united for the mission of God.” Read the article here.
