My wife, Soo and I are alumni of EAST, having spent 5 wonderful years at EAST as students.
During one of my first lessons the lecturer made this statement “If the student has not learnt, than I have not taught”. In my years of previous education, I have not heard such a statement and I knew that my time at EAST was going to be extraordinary.
At EAST I learnt to use my “head” intellectually, my “heart” in terms of attitude and character, and my “hands” for ministry.
“Each of the three dimensions is emphasised in the classroom and assignments as well as field ministry and internships, school retreats, ministry weekends, community life, and Mentoring Groups.”
After graduation, it was clear to my wife and me that we want to be part of EAST through prayers and financial support as a way to give back to our Alma Matar.
When Michael graduated with an MDiv in Teaching and Exposition (2018), he also received the President’s Award on Leadership. Michael is an award-winning entrepreneur who is passionate about reaching and equipping other entrepreneurs for Christ.
