Christian Leadership Foundations (LF510, 3 credits)

July to November 2014
Fridays, 2.00pm – 5.30pm

Prepares you to lead yourself well before you are used by God to lead others well. The course examines the biblical standard of leadership against some popular leadership ideas. You will discover how God has uniquely designed you as a leader in areas of gifting, passion, personality, and life experience and also how these define your ministry opportunities. A self-care and developmental plan is based on an understanding of physical, mental, social and spiritual conditions. As you attempt to discover your personal vision and mission from God these have implications for personal management of time, talent and treasure over a lifetime. Ministry models of a shepherd, a steward, and a servant in leadership will also be studied and applied.
