The Advent season started last Sunday and we are into the second week of it. Let us prepare our hearts to ponder anew the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whose name is Immanuel meaning “God with us”.

This is a Zoom Screenshot of the Exposition of Job class with Dr. Mona Bias held from Nov 25 to Dec 4, 2020.
EAST has been privileged to invite Dr. Mona Bias, from International Graduate School of Leadership (IGSL), to teach the Book of Job as an intensive class over the last eight days. Dr. Bias is a published author and has co-authored A Commentary on the Book of Job. We are thankful to the Lord for leading us thus far, and for the privilege of being a part of His equipping of today’s Christian leaders and believers for the fulfillment of His Great Commission. It is also our privilege to witness how our students have been transformed during their time at EAST to become more effective in life and ministry.
We are also glad to be praying and walking together with you as we go through these seasons of challenges together with the Lord. You have been our friend, prayer partner, ministry partner, hand of support and beloved community in Christ in all these seasons over the years in the history of EAST.
Indeed, for all these and more we give thanks, and rejoice together in the Lord as we see His Word bearing fruit in the lives of many.

Many a student and alumnus have memories and thanksgivings of seasons spent in the EAST library. It becomes a second home to many during intense seasons of the semester.
We are thankful that the library is now under one roof with our classrooms and school office–much more convenient compared to the time when all three were at different locations.
With a fresh coat of paint and new furniture, the library stands ready to be a place of fruitful research and thought-wrestling with the Lord.
The Lord provide you with inspiration and encouragement, as He brings you wisdom and understanding in your learning journey at EAST.

A very Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! Truly, this is the year that we need to be thankful to God for everything we have – our family and friends, our health and every breath. Let us not take anything or each day for granted but live each day for His glory.
