이 과목은 인생의 다양한 위기 상황 속에서 발생하는 심리적, 정서적, 영적 문제들을 성경적 관점에서 이해하고, 이에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 위기 상담의 이론과 실제를 학습해보며, 위기의 본질과 그 영향에 대해 고찰하고 성경적 원리를 상담 과정에 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지를 구체적으로 다룹니다.

특히 자살, 죽음, 이혼, 아동 및 청소년의 위기, 인생의 전환기에서 발생하는 다양한 위기 상황을 중심으로, 위기 개입의 전반적인 과정과 단계별 상담 전략을 학습합니다. 또한, 임상적 사례와 실습을 통해 위기 극복을 위한 실제적이고 구체적인 개입 지침을 익히게 됩니다.

Korean Christian Counselling Certificate Program Launch

The Christian Counselling Certificate program (CCC) was launched on 4 August 2025 with an inaugural cohort of over 20 students. The CCC program is designed to meet a specific set of needs for Korean Christian women and conducted in Korean as a partnership between East Asia School of Theology and Elim Center.

It aims to “equip individuals with practical counselling skills to serve the Korean community with a Christ-centered approach, addressing emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs from a biblical perspective.” This program addresses a gap in Korean-language Christian counselling program that is conducted at a higher education level in Singapore. It has been designed with the global educational framework of micro-credential in mind while integrating biblical principles. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion issued by EAST. Read more

Christian Counselling Certificate – 기독교 상담 양성과정

East Asia School of Theology (EAST) and Elim Center have partnered to establish a one-year Christian Counselling Certificate Program for Korean-speaking Christian women. Launching in August 2025, the program is designed in alignment with a global micro-credential framework, to ensure that it meets the high standards of lifelong learning and higher education. The curriculum aims to equip individuals with counselling skills to serve with a Christ-centered approach, addressing emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs from a biblical perspective.

Those who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate issued by EAST.
