We are living in a time of a tsunami of change. Christians are often swamped by newer and latest technologies without having a chance to examine the ethical considerations. This course will help to surf this tsunami by evaluating from a pastoral-theological perspective, issues that will involve everyone at some time in their lives.
Dr. Alex Tang, teacher for the course, is associate professor of paediatrics in Monash University and consultant paediatrician at KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital. He is an ordained Presbyterian elder and lectures at several seminaries.
Registration deadline: Mon, 10 Nov 2014.

Mongolia Nomad – Cross-Cultural Team Internship 2014
How do you show God’s love to the Mongolian nomads? Just by being there with and serving them. And a team of EAST students did just that through their Cross-Cultural Team Internship. The first part of their trip to Mongolia was doing ministry with the nomads. Watch the video as they lived and ministered amongst the nomads.

Course: Bible Study Method and Hermeneutics
The Bible Study Method and Hermeneutics course teaches students how to study Scriptures for themselves so that they can feast on God’s Word. This skills course as taught by Dr. Keith Shubert helps believers to feed themselves on spiritual truths and not be spoon-fed as spiritual babes. Here’s the class in role-playing action!
Course: Theology 1
The study of theology is to understand the major doctrines of our Christian faith. Theology 1 covers the doctrines of the Bible, God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Mr. Matthew Winslow teaches the class in a blended format which, among other things, seeks for more thoughtful engagement of students who are non-English native speaker.
