Most Important Ministry Partners

Wives of pastors, missionaries, and field ministers are the most important ministry partners of their husbands. EAST’s Partners In Ministry (PIM) program seeks to equip these women as growing partners and effective co-labourers in their family and ministry. PIM is led by Mrs. Margaret Chan together with her PIM faculty team.

Reaching Students in Taichung

EAST students were in Taiwan recently as part of their Cross-cultural Team Internship. Hailing from three nations (none of which is Chinese), they ministered among Taiwanese campus students and churches in Taichung City by sharing the gospel personally, hold outreaches, spoke at churches and on campus. They learnt to live and work together in a multi-cultural team and ministered in a different culture and language than their own.

Hearts Strangely Warmed in Mongolia

How to serve with team members who are ‘strange’? Go to a ‘strange’ place and minister together! View such a commentary through the lens of Cross-Cultural Team Internship in Mongolia.

A multicultural team of EAST students run the gamut of ministry from rural nomadic tribes to the high octane Young Life camp in urban Ulaanbaatar. Coming from Korea, Philippines, USA, and Vietnam team members learnt to love each other and Mongolia. Strange, but true. With love, from Mongolia.
