The Formation, Integration, Reflection, and Ministry (FIRM) class is part of EAST Field Education, as taught by Mrs. Tan Ying Kheng. Recently, the FIRM class spent time at a clay studio as hands-on learning of what it means being a potter in moulding clay.

A transformational servant-leader is capable of bringing about change in organizations and individuals. Taught by Dr. Roland Tan and Mr. Nelson Lo, this course examined the underlying theology, leadership theory, and skill set of such a leader in today’s world.

Building Spiritual Movements

Most Christians wants to be effective witnesses and spiritual multipliers but never quite know how to go about it. The course teacher, Ms. Janice Chuang, taught an effective and practical approach in building Spirit-filled multipliers by following Jesus’ example and strategy.

Mid Year New Student Orientation

New students who entered EAST Academic Programs in January 2016 attended the one day Mid-Year New Student Orientation. Formal matriculation and the full two-week EAST Aleph orientation program occurs in July at the start of each Academic Year.

Memorial Service of Vonette Bright

The “Vonette-honoring, God-glorifying” Memorial Service of Mrs. Vonette Bright was conducted last Friday, 8 January 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.

Mrs. Bright (1926-2015) was the Co-founder of Campus Crusade for Christ with Dr. Bill Bright, who is likewise in glory.
