EAST FIRM Class
“Fun day with clay, not as easy as it seems… reminds me of God’s moulding us, His creation… the stubborn and impossible clay. Yet with love (water), the vessel takes the shape of what the Potter desires it to be. And heat and ash gives it hardness, texture and colour. Much like God using difficulties to mould us. What an object lesson!” ~ Daniel Yeo, EAST student.
The Formation, Integration, Reflection, and Ministry (FIRM) class is part of EAST Field Education, as taught by Mrs. Tan Ying Kheng. Recently, the FIRM class spent time at a clay studio as hands-on learning of what it means being a potter in moulding clay.
