Blessed Advent 2014
We are grateful for the season of Advent or Christmas. We are thankful for God’s gracious gift through his Son, Jesus Christ, when he took on the form of man and was born as a baby. He came so that we may live through his life, his death, and ultimately his resurrection.

Walking in the Spirit
While we are indwelt with the Holy Spirit the moment we trust Christ, learning to walk in the Spirit (fully empowered, reliant, yielded to God’s will) is a lifestyle requiring our active participation.
At every EAST Aleph (orientation immersion exercise), the following two chapel sessions would be presented: Being Filled with the Spirit and Walking with the Spirit. We believe these sessions are critical to the life of a follower of Christ who is desirous to live a victorious Christian life (including that of a student).
Supplementing those sessions are the following downloadable resources from Cru and Power To Change, which are ministries with Campus Crusade for Christ, International.
- Are You Experiencing the Spirit-filled Life? – a presentation on how to begin living the Spirit-filled life.
- Walking in the Spirit – basic growth concepts on the Spirit-filled living.
- Thirsty Devotional – a two-week daily devotional that expands and develops the concepts of the Spirit-filled life.
- The Spirit-filled Life Resource Kit – resources to help you in your growth journey as a Spirit-filled follower of Christ.

Course Privileges for EAST Alumni
Graduates from EAST academic programs are greatly welcome to attend any regular EAST classes taken under credit status for free (no tuition fees) up to 6 credits per academic year. Alumni may also attend classes under audit for free (no tuition fees). This provides alumni with refresher classes or new classes he/she really needs in ministry or for personal growth.
Alumni desiring to take up this privilege will need to register online for the class(es) with the usual class registration fees payable. Please indicate “EAST ALUMNI” in your online registration to enjoy this privilege. Only one promotion may be applied toward a course at any one time.
If the alumni wishes to take a class for credit beyond the 6 free credits in an academic year, then tuition fees will apply. For more information, please email Registrar [at] east.edu.sg.
