Teachers & Staff Appreciation Day
Teachers and Staff appreciation day came at the last chapel where the Student Council recrafted a familiar song to sing of the work and ministry of these stalwarts. Cupcakes were given out to all faculty and staff while a humorous poem was the icing on the cake. Happy Teacher’s Day! Happy Staff Day!
“No Needy Person Among Them”
EAST new resident faculty, Mr. Jacob Li, gave a devotion at a recent Chapel service. He profusely thanked the EAST community for the graciously warm welcome that he, Josephine, and their young family have experienced in their transition to Singapore.
From Acts 4:32-35, he exhorted EAST to continue growing as a Christlike community that sacrificially shares their heart, time and possessions so that “there is not a needy person among them.” Praise God for the evergreen reminder!
The collage also shows Jacob’s Mentoring Group (MG) and prayer for Dr. Keith Shubert, co-MG leader, on his birthday.

70th Birthday of Keith Shubert
EAST recently celebrated the 70th birthday of Dr. Keith Shubert, the Dean of Academics/Principal.
Affectionately called rabbi, father, or even Saint Nick, the staff, students, and returning alumni celebrated the life and ministry of the quintessential Bible teacher. Keith, may you and Jeannette continue to experience God’s bountiful provision as faithful teachers of the Word and ministers of the gospel. Shalom!
