Throwback Tuesday – New Testament Narratives Class 2017

The class looked at the four Gospels and asked the question: “There’s only one life of Jesus Christ, so why are there four Gospel accounts?” The synoptic Gospels give us a composite portrait of the character, life, and teachings of our Lord and Saviour. Continuing with the book of Acts, the class reviewed the ministry and work of the Holy Spirit in the building up of the Church.

Teachers Ms Amy Lau and Mr Victor Kwok led the students on the path of discovery of why the Gospels are indeed Good News for all generations and the Acts of the Apostles reveal the outpouring and empowerment of the Holy Spirit to the Church for all time.

EAST Myanmar Students in “Kingdom Musical Drama”

EAST students were part of the organizers and participants of a musical drama held in Myanmar on 27-28 October 2017. The so-called “Unshakable Kingdom Musical Drama” is an outreach event for Christians and non-believers alike. It reflects the last day of Christ from the private time spent with His disciples to the death and resurrection and finally His ascension to heaven.

Performed over two nights, each night saw over a thousand who came for the performance. Praise God for the opportunity to share the momentous moments of Christ’s life that continues to impact the present and into all eternity.
