OT537/OT537A Joshua, Judges, and Ruth (2 credits/3 credits)
16–28 May 2016, Mondays-Saturdays, 9.00 am to 3.30 pm
This course is an expositional study of three books which cover the history of a “transitional” time between God’s direct leading of people through Moses and indirect leading through his anointed kings. The nation of Israel struggled in their faith and faithfulness during this time—they excelled at times and failed at times. A study of these books help us who also live in a transitional time—the time between the first and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ—to anticipate our downfalls and to prevent or overcome them through faith like that of Joshua and Ruth.
