Prayer Pointers – 9 September 2021

 

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” – Micah 6:8, ESV

Saint Augustine wrote, “Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.” Micah 6:8 is a timely reminder for us to restore relationships, to show lovingkindness, and to absolutely depend on God in such endemic times: to watch out for and help one another stay safe and healthy—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

PRAYER POINTERS – 9 September 2021

Praise God for the opportunity to “love our neighbour” together with another church and agency through a free health screening exercise with packed lunch this past weekend for some 100 migrant workers at our campus, the EAST Mission Hub.

Pray for effective follow-through of the EAST mentoring group ministry weekend with other churches and agencies locally and overseas, held onsite and online, spanning the past two weekends.
