Prayer Pointers 7 December 2023

Are you still fretting over the best gift for your loved ones this Christmas?

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”. Roman 6:23 -ESV

What better gift than to introduce the giver of everlasting life to them?

Praise God:

– That the free gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who purchased it for us. He is the All in all in our salvation.

– That when we trust in Christ, God gives us credit for Christ’s sinless life and accepts the payment of Christ’s death for our sin, that we have eternal life with Him, sharing in His glory.

Pray for:

– All EAST faculty, staff and students to continue having a sense of urgency and fervency in sharing the gospel during this Advent season.

– All Christians to adopt the holy living and evangelistic lifestyle that attract people to God’s hope, peace, joy and love.

Do you doubt your ability to accomplish your undertakings?

^”And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ”. Philippians 1:6 -ESV.

How about trusting God to intercede in your current situations?

Praise God:

– That He called us His own and deposited His Spirit in us when we first accepted Him as our Saviour.

– That His Grace and peace are freely given to us by our Father, the fountain and origin of all blessings to do His will in His strength.

Pray for:

– God’s empowerment for EAST students; assurance that Holy Spirit who resides in them will help them accomplish their assignments.

–  EAST community to recognise and rest on God’s will and goodness to run the race to the end, not relying on our own strength.
