PIM Application Procedure

All potential applicants are to email the Admission Office at admissions [at] east.edu.sg for an online link to the PIM program student application.

Application Deadlines

The deadline for submission of all admission documents is 1 April for internationals and Singapore residents. The Admissions Office will inform applicants with the results of their application.

The Admissions Office will not consider applications that do not have the required items mentioned below.

Admissions Requirements

Wives of seminary students and men in full-time or bi-vocational ministry who wish to enter the PIM two-year Certificate Program should contact the EAST admissions department. Admission process includes completion and submission of a PIM application form, payment of a PIM application fee, and in some cases, an interview with a PIM faculty member. Application Requirements

As an applicant for the Partners in Ministry (PIM) Certificate Program, you must complete the following requirements:
1. Online Partners in Ministry (PIM) Application form. Answer all items which will be automatically saved online. Note that the application is considered submitted only when the Submit Application button is clicked.
2. Recent passport-sized photo in digital form. No one else should be included in the photo with you.
3. Personal identification document. Submit a digital copy of passport or government-issued identity card for internationals and the NRIC for Singaporeans/Singapore PRs. For internationals who are residing in Singapore under any valid long-term pass, please submit a digital copy of the long-term pass.
4. Biographical information.  The application form includes the two questions that must be answered.
5. Sponsorship letter (written by sponsor). This is required if your PIM studies is sponsored by others. The sponsor is to write a letter that indicates the name of student being sponsored. The letter is to be uploaded onto the online PIM application form or email to admissions@east.edu.sg.
6. Submission of S$30.00 application fee. See this page for methods of payment.
7. References from your pastor and one other person who has known you for at least two years. Neither reference should be related to you. If the pastor is your husband or a relative, then list as a reference another member of the pastoral staff or a ministry worker who knows you for at least two years. You are to provide the email address for each reference on the online application form. Both references will receive an email with a link to an online reference form for completion.
8. Possible visit with a PIM instructor to determine level of English proficiency.

Only when all the above application procedures have been fulfilled will your application be evaluated. You will then be notified of the result of your application for admission.
