Defending the Faith in Asia (Onsite)
IS502, 3 Credits
23 November – 2 December (from Wednesday through the following Friday, excluding Saturday and Sunday)
9.00 am-5.00 pm

This course equips the student to thoughtfully and respectfully respond to objections to Christianity frequently encountered in Asia today.  This course also explores the biblical, historical, and theological foundations for apologetics.  It examines and analyzes various methodologies used to dialogue with others of the truth and beauty of Christianity for the glory of God and the joy of all people.  The class will investigate the evidence for God’s existence, including the problem of evil and divine hiddenness; we shall also consider whether the Bible is reliable, the case for Jesus’ resurrection, and issues from science and sexuality.

Audit students are welcome to contribute to class discussions. No readings are required.
