Exposition of Job [Online]
OT551, 3 Credits
25 November–4 December 2020 (from Wednesday to the following Friday, excluding Saturday and Sunday)
9.00 am-12.30 pm

The course will attempt to grapple with the problem of theodicy in the Book of Job and respond to the following questions: Why does God allow unexplainable pain and suffering? Why do the righteous suffer? In the darkest times, what will sustain a person who is suffering? What principles can be applied in counseling someone who is in pain? What is the relevance of the message of Job to the pain and suffering that came in the wake of COVID 19? This course is suitable for Church members, leaders, pastors, seminarians and anyone who is interested in exploring the relevance of the message God has for us through the Book of Job today.
