Biblical Greek 2 (Onsite)

9 January – 8 May 2026, Tuesdays, 9.00 am – 12.00 pm

Building on NT501, this course strengthens students’ knowledge and skills in applying the principles of Greek grammar, syntax, and semantics in New Testament exegesis. Students will become more competent in using Bible software and tools that utilise Greek to translate and analyse NT passages. They will also learn the steps of exegesis and apply them to exegete NT passages.

Prerequisites: NT501 Biblical Greek 1: Elementary Greek, and/or concurrent with BS511 Biblical Hermeneutics.

Course limited to program students and visiting credit students.

June Chan, ThM, MLitt, received her ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary (USA), where she was trained in the biblical languages. She went on to complete an MLitt in Theology and the Arts at the University of St Andrews (Scotland), engaging in interdisciplinary study and research on the role of the arts within theology and the place of theology within the arts. Her academic preparation and ministry experience reflect her passion to equip others to live authentic and holistic lives devoted to the Lord. She currently serves as a visiting instructor for Greek 2 at EAST.
