A Glimpse of EAST
Hot off the press!
Below is a collection of prayer letters from students, staff, faculty and alumni of EAST. We hope that you will get a glimpse of the community at EAST by reading through these prayer letters. Pray along with us and be encouraged by how the Lord is working in and through our lives.
- Jeremy & Jane's Ministry in Pakistan
- When I first embarked on the journey of theological studies, my dream was to eventually be able to teach God's Word in the mission field. This trip had opened my eyes...
- Bataa & Ganaa's Thank You Note
- ...through the generous contributions of friends and families and even strangers, the fund's target has now been exceeded with total collections (including pledges)...
- Davina Ng's Journey Mercies are for REAL!
- Often times, before we travel, we would pray for journey mercies -- for God's protecting hand to be upon the travellers. It may seem like a ritual but it should not be so.
- Wan Jee's Hear No More
- Lately, a few missionaries here heard some not-so-good news. Some news led to a flight home, others brought loss and pain. But news, good or bad, challenge us to keep trusting God. I share with you two of mine.
- Roland & Ying Kheng's "Excuse me, do you pray?"
- THREE weeks ago, I bumped into Meeta at the car park. "I'm very unhappy," she said. "Can you pray for me?"
- Peter Lee's A New Term
- Some of these students are undergoing English classes taught by our staff and volunteers who are teaching English in NUS. I am very touched by the volunteers who have the heart to help these students improve their English and further their studies.
- Wai Ling's A New Term
- Training and equipping them is also a part of what I love doing with my gals. Many of them are able to share their faith and conduct evangelistic Bible study confidently in the power of the Holy Spirit. I have the joy of seeing God touch so many lives through these gals because they have allowed God to minister through them.
