HealthServe Co-founder – Singaporean of the Year 2017

Congratulations to co-founder of HealthServe, Dr Goh Wei Leong, on his receiving Singaporean of the Year 2017 award by The Straits Times. EAST students have interned with HealthServe over the years and a graduate has even joined their staff full-time. Dr Goh, 58, was recognized for his work through HealthServe which provided migrant workers with affordable healthcare, legal aid, skills training, social assistance and free meals.

According to The Straits Times, the award seeks to “honour outstanding Singaporeans who have put the country on the world map, persevered through incredible adversity or made the community a better place through selfless acts.”
