Worldwide Day of Prayer 2017

Have you ever been so focused in meeting ministry needs that you missed out on God’s presence and empowerment? Cru and EAST intentionally sets aside days of prayer to “pause” ministry for all staff, students, and members and seek God’s face in prayerful dependence on Him.

The recent Worldwide Day of Prayer (WDOP) on 3 October 2017 was co-hosted by Cru Singapore and EAST. The theme was “Open Our Eyes.” In John 4:35, Jesus says, “I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” We are to open our eyes and pray to the LORD of the harvest to mobilize workers to the harvest field (Matt. 9:37-38) even as the fields are ripe for harvest.

Our alumnus, Dr Samuel Too, spoke on the spiritual empowerment of doing God’s will resulting in fruitful harvest by Christ’s disciples (John 4:31-38). Praise God! ???
