Exposition of Old Testament Wisdom Literature (OT518 or OT518A, 2 credits or 3 credits)
7 – 12 December 2015 (9.00 am to 5.00, Monday to Friday)

“What we need today is not a greater number of intelligent people but wise people.” (These words are adapted from spiritual writer, Richard Foster). Who is the wise person?  How do we develop wisdom? This course seeks to understand wisdom in both its ancient setting and canonical context. It offers an introduction to Old Testament wisdom literature which covers Job, parts of the Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs. These books are applicable to our context in Asia today.
